Captain Jack Will Be Back in ‘Doctor Who’ Holiday Special ‘Revolution of The Daleks’

Doctor Who fan-favorite Captain Jack Harkness is back for a new adventure in the TARDIS in the upcoming holiday special Revolution of The Daleks. John Barrowman previously made an appearance as the former Time Agent in the season 12 episode “Fugitive of the Judoon.”

The return of Captain Jack was announced in a teaser, which you can watch below.

A poster for the episode was also released featuring The Doctor, her companions, and Captain Jack.

In the upcoming special, The Doctor is in prison and her companions are stuck on Earth when a former enemy is threatening the planet:

The upcoming festive special will see the return of one of the Doctor’s biggest and most feared enemies – the Daleks. The Doctor is locked away in a high-security alien prison. Isolated, alone, with no hope of escape. Far away, on Earth, her best friends, Yaz, Ryan and Graham have to pick up their lives without her. But it’s not easy. Old habits die hard. Especially when they discover a disturbing plan forming. A plan which involves a Dalek.

Revolution of The Daleks will air during the holiday season on BBC One.
