Disney+ announced today when Doctor Who fans can expect the highly anticipated TV specials to be available on the streaming service. The first special, “The Star Beast,” will premiere on November 25, followed by “Wild Blue Yonder” on December 2. The final special, “The Giggle,” will premiere on December 9. The specials will premiere globally on Disney+, except in Ireland and the UK, where they will be broadcast on the BBC.
David Tennant and Catherine Tate are returning in their respective roles as The Doctor and Donna Noble. Also returning for these specials are Jacqueline King as Sylvia Noble, Karl Collins as Shaun Temple, and Jemma Redgrave as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart. Joining the specials as new characters include Yasmin Finney, Miriam Margolyes, Ruth Madeley, and Neil Patrick Harris. Disney+ has confirmed Season 14 of Doctor Who with Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor will premiere sometime in 2024.
