One of the summer’s biggest box office hits, Asteroid City, directed by the talented Wes Anderson, is heading to digital, Blu-ray, and DVD. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will release the unique comedy film on digital download on August 11 and Blu-ray DVD on August 15.
Asteroid City has a stellar cast led by Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, and Jason Schwartzman. Joining the three all-star leads is a critically acclaimed group of actors including Jeffrey Wright, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Maya Hawke, Steve Carell, and Margot Robbie to name a few.
Asteroid City tells the story of a desert town set in America in the 1950s. The town hosts an annual celebration called Asteroid Day. This gathering calls Junior Stargazers and Space Cadets from across the country to assemble. This year things go off course when a world-changing event is predicted to happen. This quirky film brings comedy and science fiction to its viewers, along with some romance and drama.
