Pluto TV to Premiere ‘WOW! The History of Women’s Wrestling’ Documentary
On April 26, Pluto TV will premiere the documentary WOW! The History of Women’s Wrestling. Airing on its Fight channel at 8 p.m. ET, the documentary is produced by Fishbowl Worldwide Media and explores the evolution of women’s wrestling from a sideshow act at the fairgrounds to the rise of the first all-female wrestling league GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling) in the 1980s, to present day successes including professional wrestling company Women of Wrestling (WOW).
To continue the celebration wrestlers from WOW Reina Del Rey and Samantha Smart will join the festivities on social media to add insight and commentary. Pluto TV’s Fight channel will rebroadcast the documentary on Saturday, April 29, at 10 p.m. ET.
