Mariah May Signs With AEW

The AEW women’s division just got a little more glamorous with the signing of Mariah May.

May is one of the most exciting prospects not just in women’s wrestling but all of wrestling. May has spent most of 2023 over in Japan with Stardom, recently finishing her contractural obligations with the company at the 5STAR Grand Prix in September. May debuted in a backstage segment with RJ City.

When asked about her intentions with AEW, May notes that she’s a big fan of RJ’s work with the Timeless Toni Storm. She went to Japan because Storm spent time wrestling in Japan with Stardom and now she’s in AEW because, of course, Storm is in AEW. He offers to introduce May to Storm next week and May pretty much fangirls at the idea of it.

Storm is currently in a feud with the AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida who will defend her title against Storm at AEW Full Gear on November 18 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
