‘Doctor Who’: Neil Patrick Harris Joins the 60th Anniversary Episode

After announcing the return of David Tennant and Catherine Tate and the casting of Yasmin Finney of the mysterious Rose, the BBC shared that a new actor has been cast in the British show Doctor Who in an upcoming special episode.

Emmy and Tony Awards winner, Neil Patrick Harris, is joining the cast to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the beloved sci-fi show. Harris is currently filming scenes of the episode.

The news was shared earlier on the Doctor Who Twitter account:

On his Instagram post, Russell T. Davies described Harris’ character as “the greatest enemy the Doctor ever faced.”
