A new wave of My Hero Academia collectibles from Funko is on the way!
My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series, written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi, which was later adapted into an anime series. Set in a world where a majority of the population is born with superpowers called quirks, it follows the story of Izuku Midoriya, a quirkless boy who dreams of becoming a superhero. After crossing paths with Japan’s number one hero and his personal idol, All Might, Midoriya is chosen to be his successor and is accepted into a prestigious hero academy, U.A. High School.
Today’s reveal includes several Funko Pop!s, keychains, a 6-inch super-sized version of Gigantomachia, an 18-inch mega-sized version of All Might, and a Todoroki family double pack featuring Shoto and Endeavor. Notably, Hawks, Jiro, Aoyama, Yoarashi, and Rock Lock have finally received the Pop! treatment.
Seasons 1 through 5 of My Hero Academia are currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, and two season 5 OVAs are coming to the streaming service this summer. Season 6 is due to premiere this October.
