We’re officially a month out from the highly anticipated release of the seventh season of My Hero Academia, which will see the approach of the decisive battle between heroes and villains as an inevitable war looms on the horizon.
In order to prepare fans for the upcoming season, a four-episode special event series — My Hero Academia: Memories — will begin airing this weekend! Memories will recap the entire anime so far, starting off with Deku’s harrowing entrance exam training for U.A. High School and taking us all the way through season 6’s Dark Hero arc. Crunchyroll will simulcast episodes weekly from Japan starting this Saturday, April 6 at 2:30 a.m. PT.
Dub fans can rest assured that both Memories and the seventh season will be dubbed in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Italian, though dub premiere dates have not yet been announced.
Based on Kohei Horikoshi’s ongoing manga series, My Hero Academia is set in a world where about eighty percent of the population has a superpowered Quirk. Heroes protect people and society from accidents, disasters, and villains — criminals who use their Quirks for evil. The story of Izuku Midoriya and his classmates at U.A. High School and their growth, fights, and friendship unfolds as they aim to become heroes.
Season 7 of My Hero Academia will premiere on Crunchyroll on May 4, with new episodes arriving on the platform weekly at 2:30 a.m. PT, simulcast from Japan. Seasons 1 through 6 are now streaming on Crunchyroll.
