‘Mayan MC’ Panel + Trailer
Kurt Sutter has returned to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con with a new show with co-creator Elgin James, Mayans MC. There was a giant banner put up at the Hilton Bayfront hotel. True to Sutter’s fashion for authenticity, the cast has done more time in jail then on the screen.
Mayans MC is going to be set a few years after the finale of Sons of Anarchy and tell the story of EZ Reyes (JD Pardo) navigating his life as a prospect of the Mayans and will be 10 episodes long.
When asked if we will see a crossover with some Sons of Anarchy characters Sutter had this to say, “There’s a relationship there between Mayans and the Sons, so we’ll see those points of intersection happen this season and throughout the series as well.”
The first familiar face we will see is Emilio Rivera’s character Marcus Alvarez which is fitting since he is President of the Mayan Oakland charter.
