FX’s fan favorite comedy Reservation Dogs is headed back to our screens this summer for the last time. Season 3 of the hit show will premiere exclusively on Hulu August 2, and FX has just announced that this third season will be the show’s last

Starring D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Devery Jacobs, Paulina Alexis, and Lane Factor Reservation Dogs tells the story of a group of Navajo teens and is unique on television, in that it features an all-Indigenous writing and directing team, plus a majority Indigenous cast! This allows the series a realism in its storytelling that has earned critical acclaim, with two Independent Spirit Awards as well as Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice, and Peabody nominations! Unfortunately though, this has not been enough to earn the show a fourth season.

The brainchild of Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi, Reservation Dogs is the first show of its kind, and Harjo shared his thoughts on the cancellation announcement in an Instagram post that you can check out below.
