There is more to the legend of Superman in SyFy’s new series Krypton. This new show promises to look deeper into the lore and history of Superman’s homeworld. Many of the TV and Cinema adaptations of the Man of Steel’s story have focused on his time on Earth. Few have given us more than mere glimpses into Krypton beyond a world on the brink of destruction.

Set 200 years in the past, Krypton will follow Kal-El’s (Superman’s) grandfather Seyg-El (played by Cameron Cuffe) as he endeavors to reclaim his family’s honor, save his planet from chaos and protect his legacy. If he fails, Superman may never exist to protect the Earth or the universe as we know it! An exciting and diverse cast of characters join Seyg in an action-packed adventure through the DC Universe. I know I can’t wait to see what this show has in store. Krypton is set to premiere on SYFY on Saturday, March 21, 2018 at 10/9c. Check out the trailer below!
