After announcing the premiere date last month, the Disney+ adaptation of Rick Riordan’s bestselling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series has received a new poster! The poster, which you can check out above, features Walker Scobell as the titular Percy Jackson demonstrating his godly powers.

The show will follow along with the first book in Riordan’s series, The Lightening Thief, as Percy (Scobell) discovers that he is not the average human. He’s a demigod. As he explores his godly heritage, Percy finds himself in the center of a potential war between the gods, and with the help of his new friends Grover (Aryan Simhadri) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries), must traverse America to stop it.

Full of action, adventure, and heart, Riordan’s stories have been a favorite for nearly two decades and fans are anxious to see what Disney has done with it. So be sure to mark you calendar for the series premiere on December 20, and be sure to check back here for update and all things Percy Jackson.
