Seth Rollins has reportedly joined the cast of the upcoming Captain America: New World Order film.

Photos and videos of the WWE Superstar on set emerged yesterday evening, and Rollins appears in a costume that looks awfully similar to that of the Serpent Society from the Captain America comics. Rollins’ previous acting credits include Armed Response, Southpaw Regional Wrestling, Trouble, and Sharknado 4. This marks his first major role in a feature film.

The fourth installment in the Captain America franchise is directed by Julius Onah and co-written by Dalan Musson and Malcolm Spellman. The cast includes Liv Tyler’s return as Betty Ross, Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross, Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Shira Haas as Israeli superhero Sabra, Xosha Roquemore, Danny Ramirez as Joaquín Torres, and of course, Anthony Mackie as Captain America. Mackie moved into the role of the titular shield-wielding hero in Disney+’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series.

Plot details along with character details on who Seth Rollins is set to play are currently still under wraps, but filming has been underway for a month in Atlanta, Georgia. Captain America: New World Order is set to debut in theaters on May 3, 2024.
