THQ Nordic has revealed new details for the upcoming AEW: Fight Forever, All Elite Wrestling’s first console game.
With a wide array of wrestlers available on the roster, AEW: Fight Forever combines a nostalgic, arcade-wrestler feel with innovative AEW finishers and tandem offense moves. This also means players will have the ability to customize everything from wrestling attire and appearance to move sets, entrances, teams, and arenas.
The game also features a Career Mode which highlights the fun and personality of an All Elite Wrestler’s life on the road. Players can create and develop their own wrestler who joins the AEW roster and appears in matches and stories over an event schedule. Points are earned by winning matches and fulfilling certain objectives, which can then be used to enhance wrestler stats.
As for match types, players can set themselves into single, Tag-Team, 3-way, 4-way, Ladder, Casino Battle Royale, Falls Count Anywhere, Unsanctioned Lights-Out, and Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatches.
Perhaps the most intriguing part of the game is the Online Co-Op, wrestling goes completely next-level with Tag-Team matches that feature sequences of team maneuvers performed with simple commands.
AEW: Fight Forever is available for pre-order for $59.99 USD via PS4, PS5, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. AEW will take part in this year’s THQ Nordic showcase taking place on August 12, stay tuned for updates.
