‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’: Watch the SDCC Exclusive Trailer Now

Today, part of the San Diego convention center transformed into Middle Earth as Hall H hosted a massive panel for Prime Video’s upcoming series — The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

In the panel that is one of the largest in San Diego Comic Con’s history, Tolkien superfan and surprise moderator Stephen Colbert joined show-runners J.D. Payne & Patrick McKay, executive producer Lindsey Weber, and 21 members of the ensemble cast to unveil an exclusive trailer for The Rings of Power.

The trailer showcases the frightful reemergence of evil in Middle Earth and gives a look at some of the spine-chilling foes the heroes of the series will go up against.

The highly anticipated The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on Friday, September 2, with new episodes available weekly. Check out the exclusive San Diego Comic Con trailer below.
