We are Groot.
Marvel Studios has begun its San Diego Comic Con announcements, starting with the animated projects the studio is tackling. First up, the studio released an official trailer for their upcoming animated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 spin-off, I Am Groot, as well as unveiling a new poster for the project.
Returning from a fan-favorite performance in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Baby Groot will star in his own original Disney+ collection of shorts. Although we haven’t seen the baby version of audiences’ favorite Flora Colossus since the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, I Am Groot will feature Groot in his baby form once more. The shorts will be animated and feature new and certainly unusual characters that can only be expected of the Guardians franchise.
