Netflix’s Vikings spin-off Vikings: Valhalla starring Sam Corlett as Leif Erikson will premiere this February. Set 100 years after History’s Vikings series, it will introduce an entirely new crew that is still connected to their ancestors.

Netflix ordered 24 episodes spanning over multiple seasons. Ahead of the series premiere, season 2 wrapped up production in Ireland in early November.

“Vikings: Valhalla begins in the early 11th century and chronicles the legendary adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived – Leif Eriksson, Freydis Eriksdotter, Harald Hardrada and the Norman King William the Conqueror. These men and women will blaze a path as they fight for survival in the ever changing and evolving world.”

Alongside Corlett’s Erikson, the Vikings: Valhalla cast also includes Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter), King Canute (Bradley Freegard), Olaf Haraldson (Jóhannes Jóhannesson), Emma of Normandy (Laura Belin), Earl Godwin (David Oakes), Jarl Haakon (Caroline Henderson), Queen (Pollyanna McIntosh), and Jarl Kåre (Asbjørn Korgh Kissen).

Vikings: Valhalla will premiere on February 25 on Netflix.
