Beginning in the 11th century, the series will span over multiple seasons chronicling the adventures of some of the most prolific Vikings that ever lived. Sam Corlett leads the series as Leif Eriksson, as well as Frida Gustavsson as Freydis Eriksdotter and Leo Suter as Harald Sigurdsson.

The trailer gives a glimpse of the bloodshed that’s to come when the travelers clash with the Englishmen, followers of the new Christianity.

Vikings: Valhalla also stars Olaf Haraldson (Jóhannes Jóhannesson), Emma of Normandy (Laura Belin), Earl Godwin (David Oakes), Jarl Haakon (Caroline Henderson), Queen (Pollyanna McIntosh), and Jarl Kåre (Asbjørn Korgh Kissen).

Vikings: Valhalla premieres February 25 on Netflix.
