After a three year wait, alternative rock legend Three Days Grace have announced that a new album is on its way!

After promoting the release of their latest single “So Called Life,” which dropped on November 29, the platinum certified rock band surprised fans by announcing they will be coming out with their seventh album in 2022 called EXLPOSIONS. “So Called Life” is the first single off said upcoming album, which is officially set to drop on May 6 via RCA Records.

Formed in 1997, Three Days Grace has been a longstanding icon in the rock world. The Canadian band have released six studio albums so far starting in 2003 with a self-titled debut album. Releasing an album about every three years, their first three albums, Three Days Grace, One-X, and Life Starts Now have all been certified platinum. Their last three albums, Transit of Venus, Human, and Outsider have all been in the top 10 of the Billboard Top Rock Albums. Even with a major lineup change in which their lead vocalist left in 2013, the alternative metal band has proven they are here to stay, topping the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart with 15 No. 1 songs and winning Rock Artist of the Year on the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

While EXPLOSIONS is still a few months away, it is currently available for pre-save and pre-order here. In the meantime, make sure to listen to the album’s first single, “So Called Life” which is out now!
