‘Mystery Science Theater 3000 Live: Time Bubble Tour’ With New Host Emily Connor Now Underway
The Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K) Live: Time Bubble tour across the United States is officially underway.
As of November 2 the new live show from Alternaversal, the production company behind the critically-acclaimed Netflix series Mystery Science Theater 3000, is on its way with MST3K’s newest host, Emily Connor.
The “Time Bubble Tour” is supervised by series creator Joel Hodgson. It features the 1985 sci-fi/horror film Making Contact, with Emily Marsh — who was hand picked by Hodgson — appearing as Emily Connor acting as lead of the tour. Also appearing are Conor McGiffin as Tom Servo, Nate Begle as Crow, Yvonne Freese as Mega-Synthia/GPA, and Kelsey Brady as Swing Puppeteer.
Although this is her first time hosting MST3K live, Emily Marsh is no stranger to the show. She appeared in 2019’s Great Cheesy Movie Circus Tour and will be joining the series cast as a new host alongside Jonah Ray in the upcoming season 13.
Creator Hodgson is excited about the tour and Marsh’s role stating:
“Emily is inherently funny, and she has great comic timing that makes her perfect as MST3K’s next host. After thirty years of MST3K having exclusively male hosts, it’s really refreshing to see a woman step into that world. Emily’s performance creates a profound evolution in the show’s tone. I’m super excited for everyone to see how great she is.”
The tour will make stops in more than 50 cities across the country over the next four months. Check out the list below to see if there is a stop near you, and then head over to mst3klive.com for ticket information and all the other details
