The Walking Dead season 11 premieres next month. To celebrate, AMC is continuing its 11 weeks of reveals with the first look at the season!
In the form of a minute promo, we get to see all of our returning favorites like Daryl, Carol, Maggie, Negan, Yumiko, Ezekiel, Princess, Eugene, Rosita, Aaron, and Gabriel. Along with them is another character we know is coming — Mercer!
He’s in full gear alongside the Commonwealth Army who viewers met in season 10’s “A Certain Doom.” Appearing in the last two dozen issues of the comics, he’s a soldier in the Commonwealth Army and romantically linked to Princess.
The Walking Dead season 11 sees an Alexandria in complete disarray from the Whisperers as everyone works to rebuild. As the number of residents increases, they find it hard to nourish all the newcomers. This of course causes tensions to form among the group. They will need to find a way to feed everyone before the community — and everyone in it — collapses for good.
“More haggard and hungrier than ever before, they must dig deeper to find the effort and strength to safeguard the lives of their children, even if it means losing their own.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to those at Alexandria, Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko, and Princess are still being held captive by mysterious soldiers who are members of a larger and unforthcoming group.”
