Prodigies have been waiting for this! Back in January, Lou Diamond Phillips (Lieutenant Gil Arroyo) revealed he would be directing episode 7 of Prodigal Son entitled “Face Value” and you can check out that article here.

Lou sat down with Rachael Ray to discuss his episode, which just so happens to introduce two HUGE new faces: Catherine Zeta-Jones and Alan Cumming. He tells Rachael that, “They’re so warm. They’re such pros. They came in like they did part of the ensemble from the beginning. And so kind to me as a director.”

He also details traveling cross-country with his five cats (you heard that right), and how beautiful it was to see all of America’s wonders with his wife, Yvonne, as they were moving from one household to another.

Check it out below!

Lou Diamond Phillips’ Prodigal Son directing debut, “Face Value,” airs Tuesday, March 2 at 9 p.m. EST on FOX. Also, don’t forget to check out our new podcast, “Call For Backup: A Prodigal Son Podcast”, where we discuss our thoughts, theories, and more about season 2!
