After teasing his followers via cryptic social media posts, Lou Diamond Phillips has officially announced that he will direct an episode of Kung Fu‘s third season! It has not yet been announced which episode the actor/director will helm.

While Phillips may be more well-known to viewers for his acting work on shows like Prodigal Son and films like La Bamba and Stand and Deliver, this is far from his first time behind the camera. Recently, Phillips has directed episodes of The Cleaning Lady, Bull, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, along with Prodigal Son‘s “Face Value.”

Kung Fu airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW. You can find our other coverage of the series here!
