The Falcon and The Winter Soldier won’t soon be forgetting the legacy of Steve Rogers’ Captain America. A new teaser for the upcoming Disney+ six-episode limited series opens with a voiceover from Sam Wilson as he reminisces over something that Steve once said (during his plea to the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in Captain America: The Winter Soldier).

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will reprise their roles as Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, respectively, in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Picking up sometime in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, in which Steve passed on the vibranium shield to Sam, the show will follow the two heroes as they team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities … and their patience. Daniel Brühl will return as Zemo, along with Emily VanCamp’s Sharon Carter. Wyatt Russell, meanwhile, will portray the U.S. government’s militaristic successor to Captain America, U.S. Agent.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Friday, March 19.
