Disney+ has announced that the movie Elemental, produced by Disney and Pixar, will be available on the streaming platform on September 13. Alongside the movie, viewers can also watch a documentary about the making of the film called Good Chemistry: The Story of Elemental, as well as the Pixar Animation Studios’ short film Carl’s Date, which features the beloved talking dog from Up, Dug.

The original feature film takes place in Element City, where residents of Fire, Water, Earth, and Air live together. The movie follows Ember (voiced by Leah Lewis) and her friendship with a fun and easy-going guy named Wade (voiced by Mamoudou Athie). As they spend time together, Ember’s beliefs become challenged. Directed by Peter Sohn and produced by Denise Ream, Elemental features a screenplay by John Hoberg & Kat Likkel, and Brenda Hsueh with the story by Sohn, Hoberg & Likkel, and Hsueh.

The excitement doesn’t end there! Disney+ customers, new or returning, can sign up for Disney+ Basic (with ads) for $1.99/month for three months through September 20 by visiting the streaming service’s official website.
