A Killer Pilgrim Is on the Loose in Eli Roth’s ‘Thanksgiving’ Trailer

Eli Roth’s newest slasher starring Addison Rae and Patrick Dempsey sees a killer pilgrim threatening the citizens of Plymouth, Massachusetts.

The official logline for Thanksgiving reads:

“After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorizes Plymouth, Massachusetts – the birthplace of the infamous holiday.”

The film also stars Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon. Thanksgiving is written by Roth and Jeff Rendell. Roth, Roger Birnbaum, and Rendell produced the film with executive producers including Gary Barber, Peter Oillataguerre, Greg Denny, and Kate Harrison.

Thanksgiving is based on one of four faux trailers created for Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’s Grindhouse double feature. It gained so much popularity from moviegoers that a full length feature has been talked about for the last 16 years and this Thanksgiving, it becomes a reality.

Thanksgiving releases in theaters November 17.
