Random Acts Celebrates 10 Years of Kindness in New Campaign

It’s hard to believe that Random Acts is officially 10 years old! The charity, which was founded in 2010 by Supernatural star Misha Collins after the success of previous charitable endeavors within the Supernatural fanbase, is celebrating the milestone with a new “$10 for 10 Years!” fundraising campaign as well as new merchandise. The Random Acts branded t-shirt and hoodie are only available until December 1, so be sure to get yours early! The proceeds from the campaign and the exclusive merchandise will benefit the organization’s signature Acts of Kindness program, which provides small grants to individuals looking create acts of kindness in their own community.

Random Acts has funded over 1,600 of these projects in 46 countries, not to mention the many special programs the charity has created. This past year, Random Acts created the COVID-19 Support Network to highlight local organizations serving their communities during the COVID-19 crisis in need of extra support. As current executive director of the organization and Supernatural actress Rachel Miner stated,

If there is one thing I hope we are all taking away from the events of today, it is that our happiness and well-being are inextricably tied to the happiness and well-being of others. Our wish at Random Acts is to help you facilitate kindness in your life. To tell stories of it, and nurture it so it can grow more prevalent in all our lives.

For more information about the 10th anniversary celebration and the many programs Random Acts has created, head over to the official Random Acts website and social media pages! If you’re looking for even more ways to support Random Acts this holiday season, you can head over to Stands, where many of the items in the Holiday Shop will benefit the organization (and other great charities).
