WATCH: Keiynan Lonsdale Performs Songs From ‘Rainbow Boy’ for Billboard Virtual Pride

Amid the pandemic and cancelled live events, several organizations from convention companies to musicians have found ways to stay connected to fans through virtual events. Back on October 9, Keiynan Lonsdale (Love, Simon, The Flash) performed live for the Billboard Live At-Home Pride Edition. The event benefitted two organizations: BYP100 (Black Youth Project 100) and Black Rainbow, Black/queer led organizations that fight for social justice and proper representation for the Black community and the queer community. You can donate to the BYP100 here and Black Rainbow here.

If you missed the event in October, don’t fret! Lonsdale’s performance is now available to watch in full! For the event, Lonsdale performed three songs from his debut album Rainbow Boy. He began with “Gay Street Fighter,” followed by “White Noise,” and ended with “Chocolate.” Each song had its own theme, providing a creative and entertaining overall performance (“White Noise” particularly hit a little hard). Since we can’t sing along with Lonsdale in a concert venue just yet, this performance was the perfect way to tide us over for now.

Watch the performance below. Rainbow Boy is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, and wherever you listen to music.
