‘Jiu Jitsu’ Starring Nicolas Cage and Alain Moussi Coming This November

Every six years, aliens that are known as the Brax come and invade earth. That is where Nicolas Cage, Alain Moussi, and the other martial artists come in. Their characters are the chosen fighters to protect the earth. Going by the trailer for Jiu Jitsu, Cage’s character is their mentor, but is also sarcastic and wielding a sword.
Honestly, I have been looking forward to this ever since it was announced back in 2019. It is based on the comic book of the same name from Dimitri Logothetis and Jim McGrath. The synopsis for the film, according to Logothetis’s website, is:
When Jake Barnes, a celebrated war hero, and master Jiu Jitsu fighter, refuses to face Brax, an indomitable creature, the future of humanity hangs in the balance. Injured and suffering from severe amnesia, Jake is captured by a military squad unequipped to fight the merciless intruder who has descended upon the planet. Jake is rescued by Wylie, and an ancient order of Jiu Jitsu fighters who must help him recover his memory and regain his strength in order to band together and defeat Brax in an epic battle that will determine the fate of mankind.
The film is directed by Dimitri Logothetis (Kickboxer: Retaliation) and co-written with Jim McGrath (Air America). It stars Nicolas Cage (Running with the Devil), Marie Avgeropoulos (The 100), Frank Grillo (Billions), Tony Jaa (A Man Will Rise), Alain Moussi (V-Wars), Rick Yune (Prison Break), Juju Chan (Wu Assassins), Marrese Crumo (Welcome to Sudden Death), and more. The martial arts sci-fi movie Jiu Jitsu will be released on November 20; you can watch the trailer below.
