Leslie Odom, Jr. Announces New Christmas Album

Leslie Odom, Jr. recently announced that he will be releasing hi second holiday album later this year, titled The Christmas Album. In his announcement on social media, Leslie Odom, Jr. not only announced that a holiday album will be coming on November 6, but two of the songs are releasing early if you pre-order the album. These songs, “Snow” and “Winter Song” featuring Cynthia Erivo, will be available immediately for anyone who pre-orders The Christmas Album, and Odom claims that they are some of his favorites from the album.

This will be Odom’s fourth solo album and follows on the heels of his highly popular album of all-originals: Mr. However, if you have not yet listened to Mr. (though you really should), you probably know Odom from his starring role in a little Broadway production called Hamilton. Odom originated the role of Aaron Burr in the Broadway phenomenon, and won a Grammy Award as a principal soloist on Hamilton‘s Original Broadway Cast Recording. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that in addition to proving himself an impressive actor with major roles in films like Harriet and Murder on the Orient Express, Odom has also created a solid place for himself as solo recording artist. In fact, in July of this year, despite being almost a year after its release, Mr. found itself at the top of the iTunes pop chart following the release of Hamilton as a movie on Disney+.

With three excellent albums and a Grammy win behind him, it seems like a safe bet that Leslie Odom, Jr.’s new album will be nothing short of astounding. So, go ahead and listen to these two special early releases by pre-ordering The Christmas Album now, then get ready for the holidays in style when the full album drops on November 6.
