As the end of Supernatural draws near, The CW continues to tease fans with tidbits of new content to keep us on our toes. An Entertainment Weekly exclusive gave us another look at what’s in store for the Winchesters, with new pictures from the episodes “Despair” (yikes) and “Drag Me Away (From You)” (double-yikes).
First up is a picture from 15×18, “Despair”.
Sam, Dean, and Cas are shown looking visibly upset. Seeing that this is likely Misha’s last episode, it’s not hard to imagine what might be happening to our beloved angel in this snapshot.
Second is a picture from “Drag Me Away (From You)” which, despite the title, promises a little less of a doom and gloom feel as the last standalone episode of the show. Here’s to hoping the title is just Toto lyrics.
A young Sam, Dean, and two other unknown children — though one jacket is looking very Castiel-esque — sit around a table in what very well may be the bunker. The released synopsis for the episode is as follows:
Sam and Dean are asked to investigate the murder of a childhood friend, calling them back to a motel from their past and perplexing the brothers with a case they thought was solved a long time ago.
While we’ll be sad to see Supernatural go, we can’t wait to see how the Winchesters and Co. close out their amazing 15-year story.
