Since launching their civic engagement site back in July, co-founders Chris Evans and Mark Kassen have been busy chatting with everyone in the world of politics. Over the past two weeks, they’ve done virtual Q&As with numerous politicians throughout both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, with a pit stop to The Daily Show with Trevor Noah on Tuesday night.

In the segment, they discussed how they’re fighting the apathy surrounding the current political climate, trying to level the playing field using education versus popularity, Evans’ Ted Cruz debacle, and the power of civil conversation — even with people you don’t agree with.

They also announced that over 7,000 people have registered to vote via the site and 35,000 have reached out to their elected officials, which is definitely a step in a great direction. You can watch the entire segment below.
