Calling all horror, sci-fi, and Supernatural fans!

A new monster movie is in the works with James Wan and Universal. Though Wan will not be directing the movie, it will be produced via his company Atomic Monster Productions.

The currently untitled movie will be written by fan favorite writer and co-executive producer of The CW’s Supernatural, Robbie Thompson. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Sources say the story takes its cues from Universal’s classic monster legacy and shines it through a modern prism. With shades of Disturbia, the tale will focus on a group of teens who discover that a neighbor is building a monster in his basement. Spoiler: The monster gets loose.”

Though the director and cast are unknown as of now, with Wan and Universal developing the movie and Thompson writing it, it’s sure to be a hit!
