First announced in 2019, Pokémon HOME is the answer to every champ in the making’s problems. Whether you’ve maxed out your Pokémon GO storage system, are tired of shuffling legendaries between the many generations, or keep forgetting to renew your Pokémon Bank subscription, Pokémon HOME is the one-stop database to keep all your beloved Pokémon in one place.

So how does it work? Simple, Pokémon HOME is a cloud service. That means it can live between devices – specifically your Nintendo Switch and a smartphone. It also allows for trading between friends and the Global Trading System (GTS). Plus, it has its own National Pokédex, so if it’s been your dream to finally fulfill old Professor Oak’s wish and record every Pokémon in existence, this is the way to do it.

There are three Premium payment plans available to you for Pokémon HOME:

  • 30 days for $2.99
  • 90 days for $4.99
  • 365 days for $15.99

And to help with all that moving into Pokémon HOME, trainers can access the Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter for free for one month after Pokemon HOME is released.
