‘Demon Slayer-Kimetsu no Yaiba-Sweep the Board’ Game Available for Pre-Order
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is getting the virtual board game treatment from SEGA exclusively for the Nintendo Switch!
Players can take control of their favorite characters, including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, or the nine Hashira, and visit memorable landmarks from the series including Mount Fujikasane, Asakusa, and the Mugen Train! Play mini-games throughout the daytime period and take on demons by night with the help of Nezuko as you roll the dice to advance through the board.
The gameplay features the ability to swing your joy-con like a Nichirin sword as you take on demons such as the Hand Demon with up to four players. Four of the mini-games include:
- Sneaky Sword Styling – Hide from Kanamori as you customize Inosuke’s jagged sword!
- Tanjiro’s Total Concentration Training – Help Tanjiro with his Total Concentration training!
- Team Memory Matching – A 2v2 team battle! Work together in a team to match cards with the same image.
- Knock ‘Em Out! Chanbara Swordplay – Trade blows with your opponent and try to push them out of the zone!
The physical game’s pre-order is currently sold out on Amazon for U.S. buyers as of this writing, but players in Canada can purchase at Video Game Plus. Digital pre-orders are not yet available but are expected soon.
Demon Slayer-Kimetsu no Yaiba-Sweep the Board will release on April 26, 2024, one day after its April 25 release in Japan.
