According to exclusive reports from FandomWire, Hayley Atwell will reprise her role as Agent Peggy Carter in the seventh and final season of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D..
Atwell has played Peggy Carter in all three Captain America movies and most recently revisited the role in the penultimate movie of the Infinity-saga and highest-grossing movie of all time, Avengers: Endgame. She also starred in two seasons of her own TV show, Agent Carter, where her story after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger were explored but was sadly cancelled after the end of season 2.
As the last season of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. sets up a time-travel storyline, there probably won’t be any difficulty with including Agent Carter into the story for the show’s final season. It would also be interesting to see whether the show will reference the events of Avengers: Endgame.
