Supernatural‘s very own Emily Swallow has been cast for the series SEAL Team in a recurring role on the show’s third season set to air this fall.

The show follows U.S. Navy SEAL officers in their professional and private lives. Among the other stars are David Boreanaz (Bones, Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Max Thieriot (Bates Motel) and Supernatural alums A.J. Buckley and Alona Tal. The military drama mainly focuses on the so-called BRAVO team, a subunit of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group.

Emily Swallow will play Dr. Natalie Pierce, a Research Physiologist working for the NHRC Department of Warfighter Performance who will support the team with her work. Her character is described as “rimming with raw intelligence and capability, she’s unintimidated by the ‘alpha male’ environment her role places her in, and totally devoted to her mission of keeping these men on the battlefield” on the Deadline website.

Conny joined her first fandom at the tender age of three and somehow never stopped finding new things to obsess about and love. Her current love is everything Marvel, especially two characters who tend to be frozen at one point or the other. From Drag Race to Harry Potter or musical theatre, as long as it makes her smile (or cry), it’s probably her thing.
