Fans of the NBC show Hannibal, starring Mads Mikkelsen (Doctor Strange, Casino Royale) and Hugh Dancy (Ella Enchanted, The Path), were given another glimmer of hope from the show’s creator this week.
Since the show’s cancellation in 2015, Fannibals across the globe have rallied over and over to get season 4 in the works. Bryan Fuller, the show’s creator, has assured fans time and time again that no one had given up on season 4. Hannibal himself, Mads Mikkelsen, has expressed his love for the show and has said that if a comeback were possible, he and the Hannibal crew would be up for it.
Earlier this week Fuller tweeted his thoughts about the possibility of a fourth season to a fan:
No one has given up! I've made it clear I want to do it, the cast wants to do it and Martha wants to do it. We just need a network or a streaming service that wants to do it, too. I don't feel there's a clock on it or an expiration date for the idea. We just need someone to bite.

The “Martha” mentioned by in the tweet is Martha De Laurentis, producer of Hannibal the show and the films Hannibal and Red Dragon. The two have consistently shown fans their willingness and eagerness to give them what they want: Hannibal season 4.
Nothing is set in stone, but with this tweet, Fuller has once again lit up the Hannibal fandom with excitement and hope.
Will Fannibals FINALLY be given Hannibal season 4? Fingers crossed!
