Killer Queen Black, the eight-player arcade action platform, arrives in stores this summer for Nintendo Switch and fall for the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X. To add to the excitement, both editions include exclusive Killer Queen Black themed controller skins.

Inspired by the arcade Esport game Killer QueenKiller Queen Black returns to its arcade roots with a glam rock-inspired 16-bit pixel art style and ‘80s metal music to match. Players will battle for the hive in two teams of four (gold vs blue), with each team comprised of one queen and three workers. The game also features full cross-play across Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One, allowing players to face opponents on any device.

Killer Queen Black introduces the new Black team, recognizable by their glowing outfits. Any team that defeats the Black team dethrones them and takes their place. These competitions will be constantly streamed online to highlight skilled gameplay and keep the buzz going around the coveted Black team position.

The physical edition of Killer Queen Black will include a cross-platform multiplayer, three victory conditions, and three game modes.

The three victory conditions dictates that once a team wins three times, the workers can earn an economic victory by gathering berries on the battlefield and returning to their home base with them. Queens and soldiers can claim a military victory by killing the challenging team’s Queen three times. The snail victory is achieved when players slowly ride the snails in the middle of each map back to their base.

The three game modes include quick matches, ranked matches, and custom games for a private experience where players can invite friends or play with AI.

Pre-orders are currently available for both platforms through GameStop (SwitchXbox), Amazon (SwitchXbox) and Best Buy (SwitchXbox), and coming soon to Target.
