Coming to Oculus Quest first on the platform’s May 21 launch, Moss is receiving a set of new challenges in the mysterious new chapter called “Twilight Garden.” Players will have access to a new mini-boss, new environments, puzzles, character interactions, and an alternate weapon/armor set that can be used throughout the game.

The content will deliver a complimentary experience to existing gameplay, bringing additional environments, challenges, and storytelling to players.

Josh Stiksma, principal designer at Polyarc, shared his excitement about Moss‘s launch on the Quest platform in a press release:

The Quest is a game changer for the VR industry, and something we’ve been eagerly anticipating as developers specializing in VR content. Its wireless head and hand tracking technology allows full immersion in another world, simply by picking up and putting on a headset, regardless of where you are. Now, you can explore the whimsical fairytale [of ‘Moss’] from home or on the go as you travel, commute, and visit friends or family.

Moss is one of the top-rated VR games of all time with more than 80 global industry awards and nominations. And it is currently available for download through Steam, PlayStation, Oculus Rift, and HTC Viveport stores for $29.99 USD MSRP.

The free update announced today will automatically update when available on other supported platforms this June.

Moss is rated E10+ by the ESRB.
