After a long hiatus after the season 5 finale, Supergirl is flying back to our screens for its sixth and final season. The CW has announced that the show will return on Tuesday, March 30.

As Supergirl is landing on a Tuesday, this also means it will take the 9 p.m. slot currently being held by The CW’s newest series Superman & Lois, which will go on hiatus until May 18. There’s currently no confirmation on the rotation of The CW’s Tuesday programs (which also includes The Flash), but it’s likely Supergirl and Superman & Lois will continue to rotate through the same timeslot.

Starring Melissa Benoist in the title role, Supergirl follows Kara Danvers, a journalist with CatCo Media who also happens to be none other than Supergirl herself. The show sees Kara tackle balancing her work and her duty to her city, taking down human and alien threats alike. Along with Benoist, it stars David Harewood, Chyler Leigh, Katie McGrath, Nicole Maines, Jesse Rath, and Azie Tesfai.

Stream seasons 1-5 of Supergirl now on Netflix. Supergirl returns March 30 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW, streaming next day on The CW app and cwtv.com.
