Netflix Releases First Look at ‘The Princess Switch: Switched Again’ With Vanessa Hudgens

If you recall, the 2018 holiday season really got a switch up when Vanessa Hudgens’ Netflix film, The Princess Switch, made its way to the platform. In the film, Stacy (played by Hudgens), an acclaimed pastry chef from Chicago, meets her doppelganger Duchess Margaret (played by Hudgens) of Montenaro. Stunned by their similarities, Margaret suggests that the two girls switch lives, but will switch back in time for the baking competition and Margaret’s wedding to Prince Edward.

This time, in Switched Again, Hudgens has to play not one, not two — but three different versions of herself! With Margaret and Stacy making a reappearance, we will now get to meet Fiona, Margaret’s party-girl cousin. Margaret not only inherits the throne to Montenaro, but she begins having issues with her boyfriend Kevin. Because of this, Princess Stacy devises a plan to help reconnect the lovers. But of course, it’s not that easy — with the arrival of Fiona and the introduction of a handsome royal who has his eyes set on Margaret — things get complicated, to say the least.

Additionally, Netflix has given the green light for a third film which will premiere next year and is set to begin filming in Scotland later this year.
