This Is The Way — ‘The Mandalorian’ Takes Home Emmy Awards for Outstanding Cinematography for a Half-Hour Single-Camera Series and More!

The Mandalorian, the first live-action Star Wars television series, was met with critical claim after its premiere on Disney+ last year. The second season is looming just on the horizon, and it’s absolutely no surprise that the hit show has received a whopping (and well-deserved) 15 Emmy nominations.

With the Creative Arts Emmys underway ahead of the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards set to broadcast this weekend, Baby Yoda has waddled off of the stage this evening with his own bounty — a handful of statues won by The Mandalorian (Let’s hope he doesn’t try to eat them.) Din Djarin is so proud *sniff*

Thus far, The Mandalorian has taken home the following awards:

  • Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series (Half-Hour)
  • Outstanding Special Visual Effects
  • Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation
  • Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation
  • Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program (Half-Hour)

Season 2 of The Mandalorian will arrive on Disney+ on October 30. Tune in to watch the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards this Saturday, September 20 on ABC at 8 p.m. EST.
