Following the official announcement that Scream alum Neve Campbell will be returning to reprise her role, two more additions have been added to the cast. Dylan Minnette (13 Reasons Why) and Mason Gooding (Love, Victor) are the latest to be announced for the fifth installment of the Scream franchise.

Other talents set to be in the ensemble cast are David Arquette, Courteney Cox, and Marley Shelton, who will all be reprising their roles from previous Scream movies. Newcomers Jack Quaid, Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Mikey Madison have also been announced.
Paramount Studios recently announced that the release date for Scream 5 had been pushed back until January 14, 2022. Production is tentatively set to beginning filming this October in Wilmington, North Carolina. The film will be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, best known for their co-directing on the 2019 horror film Ready or Not.
