Ghostface’s Return in ‘Scream 5’ Delayed to 2022
Originally planned for a 2021 release, Paramount Studios has decided to push back the fifth installment of the Scream franchise to January 14, 2022. The announcement was made via a tweet from the official Scream account yesterday, and in addition to the new date, features a sneak peek at the iconic Ghostface mask. While no official reason is given as to why the film is delayed, it is most likely related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
