The popular indie film series, Hell House LLC, is adding a fourth film into the mix titled Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor which will premiere on Shudder on October 30.
The film will premiere at the 14th Annual Telluride Horror Show from October 13 through the 15 before it’s premiere on Shudder on October 30 during the “Devil’s Night” premiere.
The film will also screen at the IFC Center theater on October 24 as part of the Shudder Showcase.
From Terror Films Releasing, Cognetti Films, and Marylous’ Boys, here’s the synopsis for the film:
In 2021, a group of internet sleuths travel to the remote Carmichael Manor, deep in the woods of the Rockland County, New York, site of the infamous 1989 Carmichael family murders that have gone unsolved to this day. What they discover are secrets that have been hidden away for decades and a terror that has been lurking in the shadows long before Hell House LLC.
While the previous films, Hell House LLC, Hell House LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel, and Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire are billed as sequels, the fourth film advertises itself as set in modern-day times, and not as a prequel of the first three.
Stephen Cognetti returns to write and direct Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor. The film is produced by Joe Bandelli, with Joe Dain and Jim Klock executive producing for Terror Films Releasing. Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor will be available to anyone with a Shudder or AMC+ subscription in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
