‘Chadwick Boseman — A Tribute for a King’ Streaming Now on Disney+

On August 28, the passing of Chadwick Boseman was announced, sending shockwaves through us all. Boseman was best known for taking up the mantle of King T’Challa/Black Panther in the Marvel movies, introduced in Captain America: Civil War and soon shining in the spotlight in Black Panther. Boseman has also portrayed real life figures such as baseball player Jackie Robinson and musician James Brown.

In memory and honor of Boseman, ABC’s 20/20 aired a special tribute on August 30 titled Chadwick Boseman — A Tribute for a King. Hosted by Robin Roberts, the tribute included videos of Boseman’s Marvel co-stars and more recounting memories of him on and off screen. Roberts also takes the audience through Boseman’s distinguished career and work beyond the screen.

If you missed the first airing of the special (or just need a good cry), it is streaming now on Disney+. To access it, head to the page for Black Panther on the streaming website and click into the “Extras” section.
