Lovecraft Country, a new HBO television series, dropped a treat for fans today. Episode 4 is streaming now on HBO Max, instead of its usual Sunday night drop. The official Twitter for Lovecraft Country will still live-tweet at the usual time on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.

Lovecraft Country — based on the novel of the same name by Matt Ruff — follows Atticus Freeman, his friend Letitia, and his uncle George as they travel across the Jim Crow south in search of Atticus’ father, Montrose. Along the way, they encounter monsters (human and otherworldly) and magic, finding themselves burrowing deeper in a world they didn’t think existed. It stars Jonathan Majors, Jurnee Smollett, Courtney B. Vance, and Michael Kenneth Williams. It was created by Misha Green.
