Universal Studios Hollywood celebrated the opening of the new mega attraction, “Jurassic World—The Ride” with a grand celebration attended by Jurassic World film stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, along with Director/Screenwriter Colin Trevorrow and Producer Frank Marshall.
This new adventure features Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong reprising their roles as Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, and Dr. Henry Wu. The iconic dinosaurs of the movie featured in the ride include the Indominus rex and the aquatic Mosasaurus.
The experience is enhanced by the “Raptor Encounter,” where Blue, the beloved Velociraptor from the movies, engages guests along with two new realistic dinosaurs – Baby Raptor with her handler and a life-size, life-like Triceratops. An interactive “Dino Play” area invites children to explore and excavate dinosaur fossils.
Costa Rican-inspired cuisine and Tiki cocktails are served at Jurassic Café and the new Isla Nu-bar adding to the guest experience while a variety of souvenir collectible, limited edition and one-of-a-kind dinosaur sculptures from the Jurassic Outfitters store invite guests to take home a piece of the exciting new thrill ride.
