The talented and twisted Matthew Vaughn has given fans a peek at his new spy thriller, Argylle. With a talented cast that includes Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Henry Cavill, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Bryan Cranston, Sofia Boutella, Ariana DeBose, Catherine O’Hara, and Samuel L. Jackson, this film will no doubt deliver the witty reality-bending-action promised by Jason Fuchs’s screenplay.
Argylle follows Elly Conway, an author of a best-selling espionage series of books who lives an isolated life that consists of her computer and cat Alfie. Soon, she finds her fictional world is beginning to bleed into reality. Elly’s main character, Argylle, steps off the page when his missions to take down a global spy syndicate begin to predict the real covert operations. Her quiet evenings are done for as she loads up her cat Alfie and joins spy Aiden, played by Sam Rockwell, on a race around the world to stop the killers.
